We are Mary & John, and it was in our kitchen, nestled in the heart of Limerick, that we discovered our shared passion for baking. What began as a weekend hobby quickly blossomed into a full-blown love affair with cakes. Our kitchen, once a place for family meals, transformed into a creative workshop where flavours and ideas melded to create confectionary magic.

Our first big break was at a local farmer’s market, where our signature Chocolate Fudge Delight sold out within hours. This success fuelled our dream to take our cakes to a broader audience. A pivotal moment came when we decided to transition from a home-based operation to a professional business, a decision that led to our cakes gracing the shelves of Tesco and Dunnes Stores across Ireland.

Challenges & Triumphs

Our path was not without its hurdles. We faced the challenge of scaling up production without compromising on the homemade quality and taste. However, our commitment to quality and innovation saw us through. We refined our recipes, embraced new baking technologies, and expanded our team, all while maintaining the heart and soul of our original kitchen creations.

As the digital world blossomed, so did our vision. We launched our online store, offering bespoke cakes with doorstep delivery. This new venture allowed us to cater to individual preferences, delivering personalised cakes for every occasion, anywhere in Ireland.
